Jacob Smith
Jacob Smith is a PhD student in Economics at Middle Tennessee State University and a summer graduate fellow at AIER for 2026. He earned a BS in Mathematical Economics and Philosophy from Hampden-Sydney College, where he was a fellow at the Center for the Study of Political Economy.
His research interests lie in political economy, with a focus on public choice, public interest regulation, and rent-seeking.
