Nicole Kreisberg joined AIER in 2013. Her primary research areas are employment, migration, social policy and programs, and poverty. She is skilled in both quantitative and qualitative survey research methods, as well as demographic and geographic analysis. Prior to joining AIER staff, she worked as a researcher in Chicago, Austin, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, where she published widely on poverty trends, innovation in social work, temporary migration, and immigrant incorporation. Nicole holds an MA in Social Policy from the University of Chicago and a BA in Anthropology and Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
